This hybrid is thought to be a cross of \u003cspan\u003eengelmannii and engelmannii var. linguiformis (Cow's Tongue), \u003c\/span\u003eproducing very large, sometimes elongated pads, an incredibly balanced hybrid of two already unique forms of \u003cspan\u003eengelmannii prickly pear.\u003c\/span\u003e These produce a vibrant wave of yellow (with hints of green) flowers throughout the growing season. Fast growing and will produce a very large clump 4-8 feet wide by 5-9 feet tall.
