Hard to find fresh seeds of Trachycarpus fortunei 'Nova' x wagnerianus! This is a hybrid of the 'Nova' eco-type (female) and wagnerianus (male), creating a stunning stiff leaf, hardy, and fast growing palm. This hybrid Palm is a beautiful hardy palm tree that can reach heights of 10 to 30+ feet, depending on climate conditions. It is a very fast grower, faster than every other palm we grow, and performed incredibly well in our cold high desert climate in Oregon! These tend to grow taller and thinner than regular T. fortunei. It is hardy to at least USDA zone 6b, and parent trees have seen temperatures below -5F breifly. These plants would make excellent additions to your hardy exotic plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard.
